Welcome to C-talk.co.nz VoIP with service for NZ businesses
What Features are available on a C-talk phone system?
The C-talk VoIP service uses a system called "Virtual PBX". This system means that you can have many powerful features without necessarily having an expensive PBX in your business. This is particularly important for small businesses, and businesses who operate or have staff in multiple locations
Remote Extensions: This powerful feature of the C-talk service means that you or your staff can operate from multiple different locations, but still be connected to the same "phone system" - that is, still receive calls from your main number and be able to transfer calls between staff etc, no matter where you are.
Voicemail service: Create unique voicemail messages for both when you’re busy or if there is no answer. These messages can be listened to from either your phone, or sent to you as an email attachment.
Auto attendant: Would you like to have callers prompted with a menu when they call (eg. “Press 1 for sales, 2 for service” etc)? Thought you had to have an expensive PBX to achieve this? Not with a C-talk phone system!
Caller Ring Tunes: When a caller rings you, have a tune or message play. This could be used as a powerful marketing tool – have your business jingle or a marketing message play while customers ring you!
Caller Hold Music: Have your business promotion message playing while a call is on hold.
Call forwarding: This is a very flexible system to manage your calls. You can set your calls to be forwarded to another number if busy, if there’s no answer, or indefinitely. You can also set schedules for this to happen. For example, you may set incoming calls to automatically be diverted to a home or mobile number outside of office hours.
Faxmail service: With this service, your incoming faxes are delivered straight to your inbox as a PDF attachment. This makes handling much easier, and enables you to forward them on to the appropriate person or group of people
Call screening: Choose to automatically reject anonymous calls, or calls from specific numbers
Conference calls: Setup a conference call for discussions with multiple parties
Call transfers: Easily transfer a call from your phone to either another phone on the VoIP system, or an external phone. If you’re on the phone and you need to head out, no worries – just transfer the call to your mobile and keep talking!
Call Waiting, Call Return service (call back the last number that dialled you)
Caller ID service and Do Not Disturb service
Remote Dialtone: With this feature, you can make calls from any phone through your C-talk account! Also used to check your voicemail remotely and configure your line options remotely, such as Call Forwarding. You specify which numbers are enabled for Remote Dialtone (eg. your cell phone number), and when you ring from those numbers, you get a dialtone, which is the same dialtone as if you've picked up the phone in your office!
