Case Study - NZ Home and Building
NZ Home and Building is a building consultancy business based in Hamilton.
The NZ Home and Building office had a interesting situation where they had multiple numbers coming into their office for different purposes. Before C-talk came along, they had to rent each of the analogue lines, and have different handsets for each of the different numbers. C-talk was able to provide a solution that not only reduced their costs significantly, but gave them a much more efficient office operation. By transferring their numbers to C-talk, their fixed costs were reduced dramatically as they could cancel the analogue line rentals for each of those numbers. The additional numbers were then added to their C-talk plan for only $10 each per month. With the reduced calling costs added in, NZ Home and Building have reduced their phone bill by over one-third. C-talk installed highly featured digital phones, which can recieve calls for up to 4 numbers. This meant they could do away with multiple handsets and only have to have one phone on each desk. Each of the numbers has a different ring, so they know when a call is coming in, what "line" it is coming in on. Director Brent Miles says "Utilising C-talk for our phone service has been highly beneficial, as it has reduced our phone costs considerably, plus given us a more functional and flexible phone system.
