Caller Privacy and Caller ID
With your C-talk phone service, you have the ability to block your caller ID on outbound calls, or to set the outbound caller ID to be your main (pilot) number on all the lines (if different numbers) that you have.
To change caller privacy and caller ID settings, you must log in to the portal with the number you wish to adjust.
Click on the "Caller Privacy and Caller ID" heading in the main page.
To always block your outgoing caller ID Tick the first box labelled "Enable persistent caller privacy..." Click the "Save Options" button If you have multiple lines that are separate numbers, you will need to repeat this for all numbers
To block your Caller ID on a particular call Just dial a *67 in front of the number Eg. to dial the number 095869988 with your caller ID blocked, you would enter into your phone: *67095869988
To change your caller ID on other lines (ie. lines other than your main line) Log in to the portal with your "2nd" line number Click the drop-down box "CLI Phone number selection" Select your main phone number from the list (or another if you wish). Click the "Save Options" button Repeat with your remaining line numbers
