Cisco SPA504G (plus 502G, 508G) and SPA303 Configuration guide
The following guide will help you to configure your Cisco SPA50xG and SPA303 phone for the C-talk service.
Step One: Accessing the web config page
Make sure the phone is plugged in to your local network, via the port labelled "WAN" or "SW" underneath the phone. If "piggy-backing" a PC or laptop off the phone, plug your PC or laptop into the "PC" port.
Now you will need to find out what IP address your phone has been given. This assumes you have a network with DHCP (most networks). If you don't, you'll need to assign a static IP to the phone, which is beyond the scope of this document.
To find out the IP address of the phone, press the Menu button (looks like an A4 page with corner folded over), followed by 9. The IP address should now display on the screen - write it down.
Now on your PC (connected to the network also), open up your web browser, and type the IP address in to the address bar and hit Enter (or Go etc).
You should now be at the configuration page for your phone. Near the top right-hand corner is a link that says "Admin". Click that link. When the page re-loads, click the link beside it that says "Advanced"
Step Two: Configuring the phone Below are listed the values that you should change from the default values. Any values that are not listed should be left as default. The headings below relate to "tabs" in the configuration web page.
